Not much to say

Hmm I haven't updated in a bit but I'm not sure what there is to say. I finished my first year of college, interesting events with Explorers, talking to shortys, the list goes on and on. Three weeks ago my best friends father died, he was like a father to me as well so that was hard on us, the cancer took him too quickly and we will greatly miss him, but we know he is in a better place and not in pain anymore and we know one day we will see him again. My friend dropped out of school and so I've been hanging out cleaning her house a lot. My other best friend now has a boyfriend, but I can't blog my feelings about that since she reads this. My other friends are finishing up college and will be home soon, hopefully this summer is a good one. We will see what God has in store.

Story of my dog

I should be studying for my anthropology midterm I have tonight, but since I don't even know what to study I will just blog about it instead. Besides, I am feeling pretty proud of myself for writing my entire paper this morning. My dog Mia is lying besides me so I will tell you about the events in her life recently. She went in last week to be fixed, however they discovered she was pregnant! The dad, my german shepherd Bear. Since the puppies would have killed her, saying that she is a pomeranian, we had to abort them, which we were quite upset about. She did well after the surgery and seemed to be recovering quite well until we came home Sunday night from dinner at my brothers and discovered she was bleeding all over the recliner. We picked her up and her incision had come open, and something was hanging out (we later learned it was her stomach lining). We called someone who worked at the vet and she said to wait until the morning to take her in since the hospital would be very expensive. We called the emergency hospital just to make sure and they said to wait. My dad wrapped her in saran wrap and gauze and held her the whole night. In the middle of the night she was bleeding everywhere and we were sure she wasn't going to make it. My dad took her in right away the next morning and they tried to charge us for animal cruelty and abuse for waiting so long. Mia was taken care of and she is doing quite fine now. She has to wear a cone all day which she hates, but who wouldn't? Hopefully she heals quickly so she can go outside again. That's all I had to say.
Well off to my studying.

Nothing is forever

Hmm. I feel like I have gone through my first breakup even though I was never really dating the guy. It's kind of tough and it sucks though. Melissa has been a good friend through it all listening to my ranting and being the one who is mad at him because for some reason I'm not, but the whole fam and my friends are. I'm not mad though I think I am just more in shock or suprised by how much he has changed. He got to be a jerk all of a sudden and decided he didn't really want to talk to me anymore.

College Life

My second semester of college started this week. I am taking online classes again, which is kind of tough, but I like it because I can babysit. I signed up for 5 classes and was on the waiting list for all of them and was accepted into all of them, however I dropped history because it is not a required course for me, at least I don't think it is. So my classes for the semester are Cultural anthropology 102 which is going to be tough I can already tell, English 101, Music Appreciation, and Womens Health. So hopefully I do well and get good grades, because MAR and I are planning on transferring to Fresno next spring. We have to remember to pray about and see what God's will is in our lives. Hopefully all goes well because I am tired of Ripon.

uhhh

The last two days have been full of excitement I guess you could call it. My car has been acting dumb lately and not starting for me and yesterday it just decided it didn't want to start for me or anyone for that matter at all and my dad cannot figure out what is wrong with it which is quite a rarity. Then today I went to the dentist because I haven't gone in like three years and they said my wisdom teeth have cavities and I need to get it pulled cuz otherwise it's going to decay. Whoopee!!!! Then she said that the way my jaw juts out under my tongue I can't ever have dentures so I have to make sure I take really good care of my teeth so they don't fall out. Other than that I do a great job at brushing and have a beautiful smile lol.
But I guess I can't complain I got to babysit my favorite little kids yesterday and they gave me a Christmas present when the people I babysit for everyday didn't even give me a card or anything. My life really is good. I have a wonderful family, the most amazing friends in the whole wide world (mar). Life really is good and I have lots to be thankful for. I can't wait to see the wonderful and not so wonderful things I am sure God will bring in 2009.

Firsts

Wow. The last two days were quite eventful days to say the least. We went to Fresno Monday then kidnapped my friend and brought him back home with us and returned him Tuesday. We spent the night at Mel's house where she accused me of things I most certainly did not do at her house. We played Rockband, went to Save Mart, had S'mores, and ate. It was lots of fun. Oh and my friend met my siblings. I'm not quite sure how they felt about him, but hopefully they liked him. It was quite an eventful two days, but I won't go into details, those who I want to know know. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for driving!!! It was quite a good way to end the year. Happy New Years everyone!

Too long

YAYYYYYYYYYY! So this weekend I get to hang out with my friend T-pain in Fresno and I am super excited. This week is going by too slow though. I'm excited for tomorrow though because MAR and I are making cookies which will be lots of fun and help the day go by a little quicker. Im so nervous, but more excited, I think I am more nervous about his parents considering the way that I met this guy. lol
