The Long Journey

Losing weight and getting healthy is definitely a tough challenge but it is one I have decided I am going to embrace. I've been overweight for years and now I've decided to kick myself in the butt, get off the couch and do something about it. My start date was May 16, but i haven't really been doing much since after my sister got married. I was doing the 30 Day Shred by Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels, what a tough workout, it's twenty minutes of the hardest things I've ever done. It's great for building muscle and losing inches, now I am doing a Leslie Sansone Four mile Walk Away the Pounds video. It's actually really fun and it goes by quick. She has you using every muscle in your body, even your face muscles because she makes it fun to workout and gets you to even smile while exercising. Imagine that! My goal is 60 pounds in one year. Can I do it? Of course I can! Will it be easy? No way! I like exercising but I need to change my diet and eat healthier and eat less. I think that's the hardest part for me. With the help of my boyfriend and my family and friends I know I can embrace this challenge and succeed. I won't quit and I won't back down even if it takes longer than I expect.
